There are lots of great ideas and themes that you
can incorporate into your party planning process
so it's relaxing and fun for everyone. Here are a few
things to think about when planning your party.

Party Tips:

Location: The first thing to think about when planning a party is the location. One option is to have a do-it-yourself themed party at home. If you and your friends want to be pampered, and not worry about traveling before and afterward, an in home themed party is a great idea.

Decorations: Make the environment as serene as possible. Use minimal lighting or only candlelight. Drape fresh linens and white tablecloths over your table and remove any clutter. Set up plenty of aroma therapy candles to set the mood with relaxing scents like lavender, jasmine or rose. Place a few vases of fresh flowers on tables and make a playlist of some light, soothing music to play in the background.

Guest Arrival: As the guests arrive at your themed party, give them a chenille or terry cloth robe to wear, or if you asked them to bring their own robe to wear, direct them to a private area where they can change. It's a good idea to have a private area designated for changing, and for your guests to keep their belongings during the party...  cell phones and other items should be left in this area unless your group is the kind that like to snap those selfies! The more relaxed everyone is, the more your guests will enjoy your party. 

Treatments / Activities: Have a variety of different spa treatments or activities for guests to try during your party.
Set up different stations / areas or rooms for facial masks, manicures and pedicures or whatever treatments / activities or services you are offering...  For a table massage, set up a private / quiet space, so that each guest is comfortable.

Food/Drinks: As the host for your themed party, put out some food for your guests to snack on while being pampered. Serve light and healthy foods during your event like fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, sushi and vegetables with dip. Serve herbal tea, ice water, wine and cocktails for refreshments. 

Party Favors: There are many different party favors that you can give to your guests which should be theme appropriate, to thank them for coming to your party. Some ideas for spa parties are lip gloss, body lotion, scented candles, bath salts and soaps... or whatever items that are specific to your party theme. Place all of the items in a gift basket or thank you bag for your guests to take home.
